Over the past few weeks, we have seen the beginnings of a return to some form of normality – or should I say a “new normal” – around the world, supported by the gradual easing of the numerous restrictions in place. This positive outlook, especially in countries like Thailand where the number of new COVID-19 infections has for weeks remained in the single digits, and at times zero, gives us hope that the worst of these unprecedented times is behind us.
Looking ahead, we are cautiously optimistic as we adapt to a new world of evolved travel norms and fully commit our teams to meet increased global expectations for hygiene and safety.
Behind the scenes, we have been carefully rethinking and planning our approach to health and hygiene procedures. I would therefore like to personally share an update on BYD Lofts Complete Care, which draws on the Group’s ethos of total care and sincere attention for all our guests, partners and staff.

The extensive BYD LOFTS Complete Care programme was developed to ensure the protection, safety and wellbeing of our guests and employees.
As we prepare to re-open our hotel and serviced apartments, a number of changes have been implemented which our guests will notice from the moment they check-in and throughout their stay with us. These include:
